Want major "props" for attending a yoga workshop? Oh, you'll get them!
Join Sarah Mayhew for an energizing workshop that utilizes props to encourage flexibility, build strength, and find ways to root down and rise up in your practice. Props support our bodies and encourage us to take risks. They help us settle into an asana posture we might not be able to find on our own. They encourage proper alignment of our anatomy and our chakras.
In this workshop, we will discuss the literal and figurative "props" we have in our life, and how we can surround ourselves with people, ideas, and mantras that build us up and help us connect with our true Selves. We will also have opportunities during the workshop to focus on letting go of the things that no longer serve us and "block" us from reaching our full potential both on and off of our mats. With fun, upbeat summer tunes to keep us moving, we will learn new ways to make bolsters, blocks, straps, and blankets a part of our practice, and cultivate a positive, supportive community with one another.
